Teaching Pakistan organized a three-day immersive conference and cultural exchange program from 1st -4th November 2024, with the primary aim of gathering emerging youth leaders from around the world to unify and discuss solutions to the most pressing global challenges.
The event commenced with a cultural dinner on the first day, allowing delegates to network and break the ice while enjoying Asian cuisine and witnessing traditional cultural dances. This session helped refresh the delegates after their long travels and provided a relaxing atmosphere before the busy conference day ahead.
Day two began with a brief introduction by the Founder, Mr. Usama Tariq, who shared his vision and mission for advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in combating the lack of education and poverty. This vision inspired him to create a platform for youth leaders to empower young talent and unleash their potential as advocates.
He shared the organization’s journey in advocating for human rights education and youth leadership, enabling participants to become global citizens and advocates themselves. The conference featured three major sessions focused on Digital Peacebuilding, Climate Change Advocacy, and Leadership in the 21st Century.
The first session, led by Mr. Nazural Azizi, President of Young Minds Malaysia, engaged participants in a deep discussion on the impact of social media on overall well-being and explored how social media can foster peace. The next session was conducted by Dr. Syed Mohammad Saqib, an associate professor at FC College in Lahore, Pakistan. He helped participants understand the global impact of climate change and encouraged them to identify pressing climate issues and propose AI-driven solutions for sustainable growth.
The final session, titled “Lead with Light,” was conducted by Mr. Faiz Ul Kifli, CEO of Koma Kraitiv Studio. His workshop emphasized the importance of focusing on Godism instead of Humanism to lead effectively into the future. The day concluded with group photos and an award distribution ceremony, where notable delegates were honored. Ms. Sarah Raza received the award for Best Delegate for her exceptional talent and valuable contributions.
Day three was dedicated to a cultural exchange program, allowing delegates to explore notable and historic sites in Kuala Lumpur. Participants visited the Batu Caves, KL Tower, and a chocolate factory, concluding the day with dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant, which capped off a memorable experience.
Overall, the conference enabled talented youth from over 50 countries to network, engage, and foster cross-cultural peace through interaction and dialogue, while empowering them to leverage AI to achieve the UN SDGs within their respective communities.
